Monday Meal Plan: Week of April 24

The Funfetti Donuts I made last week for Maddie’s birthday were a hit. She loved the sprinkles and I loved that they were nowhere near as sweet as store bought.

We had a few nights of leftovers so a few meals we never got to this past week.

Breakfast

 

• Waffles & Fruit

• Baked Oatmeal

• Eggs, Toast & Bacon

• Lemon Blueberry Bread, for an event at church. This is a new one. Reviews to come next week.

Lunch

• Leftovers, Chicken patties in freezer, PB&J, lunchmeat sandwiches

Dinner

Sunday:
• Chili and Cornbread
We have a few chili recipes we typically use, but I wanted to find another mild one for the kids, so we are trying this new one from Taste of Home.

Monday: We ended up eating leftovers with my family.

Tuesday:
• Pizza & Salad

Wednesday:
• Cajun Cabbage Casserole
This is one we all like. I usually double it and then freeze one batch. I also omit the diced tomatoes with green chiles and just use regular diced. And I go easy on the cayenne. My kids don’t like much spice so John and I just add some hot sauce to our own bowls.

Thursday:
• Leftovers

Friday:
• Tortellini

Saturday:
Chili Mac
